Cătălina Pițigoi

Cătălina Pițigoi is an Associate in the firm's Corporate and Data Protection practice groups, advising companies on compliance with national and international laws and regulations concerning data privacy and data protection.

Cătălina’s current practice also includes legal advice in relation to day-to-day corporate matters, drafting and reviewing memoranda and commercial agreements.

In the past year, Cătălina provided legal assistance in complex data privacy projects in all relevant industries, including telecom, mass-media, financial services, energy providers. The assistance consisted mainly in GDPR audits and practical advice during the implementation phase and daily business operations.

Other area of expertise is dispute resolution, where she has represented various companies in complex projects ranging from civil, labour, administrative litigation to enforcement proceedings. Cătălina also advised clients in exequatur procedures regarding awards rendered by international arbitration tribunals.

She is fluent in English, French and Spanish.
