Ioana-Andreea Pătrașcu is an Associate in the Corporate, Mergers & Acquisitions and Gambling practice groups at Țuca Zbârcea & Asociații.
Ioana has assisted both local and international clients in a wide range of corporate and commercial matters and has provided general corporate law advice on companies’ day-to-day business operations. She has been involved in complex cross-border and domestic M&A deals, her work including legal due diligence investigation with a focus on corporate, regulatory matters and commercial agreements, as well as drafting transaction documents.
Ioana also has experience in the gambling industry. She has assisted and represented several key suppliers in the process of obtaining the specific gaming licenses and has advised major players active on the Romanian market on various compliance and regulatory issues arising from activities related to online gaming.
She is fluent in English.

- Member of the legal team assisting one of the largest Romanian companies in the distribution and marketing of fast-moving consumer goods in the intra-group merger by absorption with three other important local companies.
- Member of the legal team retained by an important Italian supplier of glass packaging in relation to a cross-border acquisition which involved taking full indirect ownership in the Romanian subsidiary of the target company.
- Member of the legal team assisting one of the leading producers of sparkling mineral water on the Romanian market on the decrease of its share capital and performing an extensive legal analysis to assess the company’s compliance with the Romanian corporate laws.
