Ioana Radu is a Managing Associate at Țuca Zbârcea & Asociații and is mainly specialised in international arbitration/dispute resolution. She provides legal assistance and representation in several proceedings conducted in accordance with the rules of arbitration of the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC) and the Court of International Commercial Arbitration attached to the Romanian Chamber of Commerce.

• Member of the legal team retained by a consortium led by a leading Italian construction company for providing legal assistance and representation services in two arbitration proceedings under the ICC Rules, in connection with claims for extension of time and financial compensation under two FIDIC contracts. The claims which are object of the two arbitration procedures exceed EUR 40,000,000.
• Member of the legal team retained by a global player in the sector of large and strategic infrastructure projects for providing legal assistance and representation services in an ICC arbitration case with the company operating Bucharest Otopeni International Airport. The dispute derives from a FIDIC Contract in relation to a major Romanian project in airport infrastructure. The claims which are object of the arbitration procedure exceed EUR 14,000,000.
• Member of the legal team retained by a leading telecom company in an arbitration procedure under the rules of the Court of International Commercial Arbitration attached to the Romanian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, in relation to claims deriving from contracts concluded for a project related to the installation and use of telecom infrastructure. The dispute refers to claims of approximately EUR 6,000,000.
