Florentin Țuca presents a special award at the "Piața Financiară" Gala Awards
Florentin Țuca, Managing Partner of the firm formerly known as Țuca & Asociații, was invited to present one of three special awards granted by FinMedia at the 10th annual Gala Awards of the "Piața Financiară" publication. He presented a special award to Mr. Constantin Ionete, former board member of the National Bank of Romania and former co-ordinator of the National Institute for Economic Research. Mr. Ionete is widely considered to be a shrewd observer of the Romanian economy before and since the 1989 revolution.
When presenting the award, Florentin said, "I would like to thank everyone at FinMedia for inviting me to present this special award to someone I have long admired. Mr. Ionete is, without doubt, a leading financial 'guru' and it is an honour for me to share the platform with him this evening."
The "Piața Financiară" awards are presented to individuals and businesses that demonstrate leadership and excellence in the banking sectors during the most recent financial year, as well as to those institutions that have significantly contributed to growth in these areas.
The Gala Awards were held at the JW Marriott Grand Hotel on the 13th of December, 2005. More than 350 guests from the world of politics and business attended the event, which also celebrated a decade of activity by FinMedia and Piața Financiară.
