Gabriel Zbârcea is Managing Partner at Țuca Zbârcea & Asociații, the firm formerly known as Țuca & Asociații
From the beginning of January, 2006, Gabriel Zbârcea is Managing Partner together with Florentin Țuca, one of the firm's founders. Gabriel will play a key role in the development of the firm's business strategy. Previously, Gabriel and Florentin worked together for 10 years in a well-known Romanian law firm.
Gabriel Zbârcea joined the firm formerly known as Țuca & Asociații after spending some time in the spotlight of public life, having been advisor to the Prime Minister and then President of the Authority for State Assets Recovery (AVAS). He is also the former President of the Privatization Commission for Banca Comercială Română (BCR).
On returning to his great passion, practicing law, Gabriel said, "I returned to my profession as a lawyer because I like it. It suits me best. And I chose Țuca & Asociații since most of my friends and former colleagues are here. Together, we succeeded in doing a lot of things in the past. And now that we are together again we will succeed in doing a lot of things in the future by building on the successes of the past."
The "Financial Weekly" magazine awarded Gabriel Zbârcea the "Mr. RON Bronze" prize in recognition of his "professionalism in the preparation of the Banca Comercială Română privatization."
