Țuca Zbârcea & Asociații and Eversheds to assist in one of Romania's most important toll road projects
Țuca Zbârcea & Asociații has teamed up with Eversheds for the international project finance aspects of the EUR 1.5bn (GBP 1.18bn) Ploiesti-Brasov road project, as first reported by The Lawyer magazine on May 12.
"This is one of the most complex projects we are handling at the moment and definitely one of the most challenging. Eversheds has an impressive track-record and expertise in all aspects of PPP / PFI and we are honored to team up with them on one of Romania's most important toll road projects", said the Romanian coordinator of the legal team retained by the Romanian CNADNR (National Company of Motorways and National Roads).
To date, Țuca Zbârcea & Asociații has developed a wealth of experience in this area and the firm is currently dealing with a number of other interesting projects, in the infrastructure (roads and parking facilities), airports, energy sectors - which is also an indication of the growing interest for partnerships between the public and private sector.
