Țuca Zbârcea & Asociații officially launches the firm's crisis blog
Țuca Zbârcea & Asociații launches today www.ckc.tuca.ro, a blog developed by the firm’s Crisis Knowledge Team (CKT).
„Blogs are an unconventional tool of communication for law firms. Since the beginning of the economic and financial crisis, a growing number of companies needed tailored legal advice in various areas, such as employment, corporate, litigation, competition. Drawing on the experience gained by team in these specialisms, we wanted to share our views and opinions by way of articles posted by our lawyers and other niche legal publications such as the Collective Dismissals Guidebook, Competition Guidebook, Real Estate Guidebook”, said Cornel Popa, Partner with Țuca Zbârcea & Asociații and Co-ordinator of the firm’s Crisis Knowledge Team (CKT).
According to Popa, the blog is not an economic and financial news portal, but a product maintained by the lawyers in Țuca Zbârcea & Asociații. “Our posts on www.ckc.tuca.ro are not and should not be regarded as legal advice”, he added.
The blog articles are generally signed by the CKT as well as other senior lawyers of the firm.
Commenting on the firm’s initiative to create a Crisis Knowledge Center (CKC), Cornel Popa said: „Our main target is to help clients work through the thicket of problems associated with the current global economic events. Basically, our CKT contributes to minimize risk and exposure, establish contingency plans, review internal policies and practices”.
The firm’s CKT offers legal assistance in relation to the acquisition and trading of distressed assets; debt recovery and claims; corporate and investment restructurings and recapitalizations; workforce restructuring, cutting employment related costs, redundancy plans; pre- and post- workout and bankruptcy matters; complex litigation; regulatory compliance and enforcement.
The team is being co-ordinated by Cornel Popa, Partner with Țuca Zbârcea & Asociații and also includes the following 5 Partners: Ioana Hrisafi, Partner and Co-ordinator of the firm’s Domestic Arbitration practice group, also an insolvency practitioner; Levana Zigmund, Partner and Co-ordinator of the firm`s International Arbitration practice group; Raluca Vasilache, Partner and Co-ordinator of the firm’s Competition and Antitrust practice group; Oana Ureche, Partner and Co-coordinator of the firm’s Real Estate practice group; Șerban Pâslaru, Partner and Co-ordinator of the firm’s Employment practice group.
