Țuca Zbârcea & Asociații receives two nominations at The Lawyer European Awards 2010
Țuca Zbârcea & Asociații is the sole Romanian independent law firm to have been shortlisted in two categories at The Lawyer European Awards 2010.
The second edition of The Lawyer European Awards 2010 organized by the UK-magazine The Lawyer will take place in Berlin, on Thursday 23rd September 2010. During the event, there will be given 18 awards to those law firms that have outperformed over the past year, and also to the law firm leaders having achieved a significant contribution towards the expansion and overall development of their business, in the previous 12 months.
The winners will be selected by a judging panel, made up of managing partners at private practice firms and in-house counsel at multinational companies. According to The Lawyer representatives, this year’s event saw entries up more than 70% on last year with an impressive quality (excellent standard) of all the submissions received.
From all the 100 jury nominations, Țuca Zbârcea & Asociații is the sole independent law firm in Romania to be shortlisted in two categories: Law Firm of the Year (Eastern Europe & The Balkans) and European Managing Partner of the Year.
As part of the selection process, the judging panel nominated 8 European law firms to compete for the title of the Law Firm of the Year: Eastern Europe & The Balkans. The winner of this award will be selected based on its remarkable performances, its mandates and the strategic growth demonstrated over the past year.
In the category European Managing Partner of the Year, Romania is represented by Florentin Țuca, Managing Partner of Țuca Zbârcea & Asociații. The judging panel has only shortlisted 7 names, with the winner being selected based on his/her leadership abilities, contribution to the firm beyond billings and innovation and creativity in building a successful business.
The awards dinner and presentations will take place at the Adlon Kempinski, Berlin on Thursday 23rd September 2010.
