Relevant Matters:

• Member of the legal team advising a France's leading hypermarket operator in relation to the extension of hypermarkets and supermarkets chain in Romania, including the acquisition of “Billa” branded Romanian network of supermarkets from REWE Group, as regards the performance of a full scope legal due diligence investigation focusing mainly on real estate issues.
• Member of the legal team assisting the biggest electricity producer in the Czech Republic in a EUR 20,000,000 acquisition of a 100% stake in an energy company and related assets (four reservoirs with dams and four small hydropower plants). 
• Member of the real estate legal team advising a leading telecommunications company in relation to the acquisition of another player’s operations in several European countries, including Romania; the legal assistance provided included performance of a legal due diligence exercise on the target companies and their local network comprising almost 500 locations in Romania (focusing primarily on real estate issues such as freehold/leasehold titles over the relevant stores/offices/technical areas).
• Member of the legal team advising a leading commercial bank in relation to the financing of a mixed-use project in Cluj-Napoca. The legal assistance included, inter alia, performing a thorough legal due diligence investigation on the target assets and permitting procedure.
