Raluca Chelaru

Raluca Chelaru is Managing Associate at Țuca Zbârcea & Asociații and part of the firm’s real estate team.

She has a wealth of experience in real estate, urbanism, and corporate and commercial. Most notably, she has an LLM in urbanism law from the University of Bucharest, in collaboration with the University of Paris I “Panthéon-Sorbonne” and Louvain-La-Neuve, Belgium. 

Currently, she is currently getting a PhD in real estate law within the University of Bucharest.

She successfully represented international and Romanian clients in real estate transactions (historical monuments, industrial sites, agricultural, residential, business, etc.), mergers and acquisitions (in agriculture, in retail, etc.), and, generally, in a wide array of real estate and merger and acquisitions matters.

She is fluent in English and French.

• Assisting a major player in the United Arab Emirates in the acquisition of the company holding under concession the greatest agricultural land in Romania and in their day-to-day activities.
• Assisting a retail distributor in the process of acquisition of the CCC shoe stores.

• Assisting a well-known real estate developer in the process of the sale of a regional shopping mall.
• Assisting various investors in the process of acquisition of historical monuments of great value.
