Overview
Tudor Bonifate is an Associate at Țuca Zbârcea & Asociații and he is a member of the firm’s Litigation & Arbitration team, being involved in administrative law, civil law, labour law and intellectual property law disputes.
He has also contributed to some major public procurement, concessions and public-private partnership projects, both as an intern and as a lawyer of Țuca Zbârcea & Asociații.
Tudor frequently publishes articles in prestigious Romanian law journals, his constant focus being public law. Moreover, he is often invited to conferences in the field of urban planning and construction law, where he addresses important topics for the normative evolution in Romania.
He graduated from the Faculty of Law of the University of Bucharest, as valedictorian. He is currently attending a LL.M. programme at the same institution, specialising in Public procurement, concessions and public-private partnerships.
He is fluent in English and French.

- Acting as part of the legal team assisting a major player in the foodservice market in a legal dispute with environmental authorities over the extension of its environmental permit and the suspension of its commercial activity.
- Acting as part of the legal team assisting a major economic operator in the wood processing industry in a legal dispute with a natural gas producer, in relation to the application of legal provisions on the capping of electricity and natural gas prices, with an estimated value of approximately RON 12,000,000.
- Acting as part of the legal team retained by an international institution for drafting the pre-feasibility study in connection with the development of two additional piers in the Port of Constanta, with an estimated value of EUR 1.3 billion.
- Acting as part of the legal team assisting a major economic operator in the sanitation sector in connection with the award of a public service management delegation contract in the municipality of Cluj-Napoca, both before the National Council for Solving Complaints and before the courts.
