Țuca Zbârcea & Asociații was named as the Law Firm of the Year: South Eastern Europe at The Lawyer European Awards last night. This is the fifth prize that the British publication The Lawyer hands out to the Romanian independent law firm.

The British media trust Euromoney has recently released the final group of rankings that represent IFLR1000 - 2022 edition, a guide to the most active and the most successful law firms in the financial and corporate world. As regards Romania, 38 law firms and more than 160 lawyers have been listed by the directory. Țuca Zbârcea & Asociații has been named as a Top Tier firm in three specialist practice areas - M&A; Banking and Finance; Project Development.

Property Forum has recently launched the 2022 edition of its "Top 50 Most Influential People in Real Estate". The list honours 50 professionals with intense activity in the real estate sector and who have led major projects over the past 15 months. For the second year in a row, Răzvan Gheorghiu-Testa, Partner at Țuca Zbarcea & Asociații and Co-Head of the firm's Real Estate practice group has been designated amongst the most renowned real estate professionals in Romania.

Reputable publication Global Arbitration Review has recently launched its 2022 edition of the "GAR 100", a guide to specialist arbitration firms worldwide. This year once again, Tuca Zbarcea & Asociatii has been included amongst the elite of law firms with a leading practice in international arbitration. The editors point out that the firm's lawyers are skilled at handling an extraordinarily wide range of IA cases with current value of pending counsel work reaching US$4.5 billion. Three of the firm's leading practitioners in this area are singled out: Florentin Tuca, Levana Zigmund, Cornel Popa. With 25 years of practical experience, they have an in-depth working knowledge of various arbitration procedural rules such as ICC, ICSID, GAFTA, the Romanian International Chamber of Commerce and UNCITRAL.

The iconic office building America House has undergone a full refurbishment and modernisation process since its take over by Morgan Stanley in 2019. The refurbishment was focused on both technical and aesthetic aspects of the building. This was followed by the upgrades of the exterior ground floor area including the extension of the terrace's premises, adding green areas, dramatic lighting for the green spaces, extending the sidewalk for the benefit of the pedestrians, changing the flooring, and unifying the retail signage.
