Romanian independent powerhouse Țuca Zbârcea & Asociații has led one of the most significant deals in the telecom sector in Romania so far. The firm advised Direct One, a Romanian-owned company that has developed its own nationwide high-capacity fiber optic network, on taking over Netcity Telecom, the operator of the capital Bucharest's underground fiber optic network.

Romanian independent outfit Țuca Zbârcea & Asociații advised APS Holding, a leading company in investment, management, and recovery of loan portfolios and real estate within Central and South-Eastern Europe. APS Holding acquired two portfolios of non-performing loans (NPL) with the nominal value of EUR 1.33 billion in Romania.
