Beware of phishing campaigns
Do not access external links and do not follow up on email messages with unsolicited requests
We have been informed that, over the past few days, you have received messages that are, APPARENTLY, issued by Țuca Zbârcea & Asociații. For this reason, in order to avoid any future inconveniences, we advise you against accessing external links, providing confidential information or personal data. In general, we would recommend being extra vigilant and cautious when receiving an unsolicited email and look after the following signs:
- Messages coming from email addresses that SEEM valid, but upon closer reading, it turns out that they are created on other email platforms than the domain of the impersonated company (usually, Gmail, Yahoo accounts, etc.);
- The person who owns the email address from which you received the message is a foreign name – basically, that person is NOT employed by the impersonated company and has nothing to do with it;
- The subject and content of the message SEEM to be legitimate, but, upon closer reading, you will notice that the aspects invoked are fictitious;
- Links upon which you are encouraged to click and which you must NOT access under any circumstances;
- Files you are urged to download – DO NOT access or download any files attached to such messages;
- Reply requests – DO NOT follow up and DO NOT send any response;
- Immediately report the email address from which you were contacted, contact your administrator to block/include the respective email address on the "blacklist";
- Report the message as Spam, using the options specific to your IT system.
If you have received such messages impersonating Țuca Zbârcea & Asociații, you can contact us directly at the official email address (office@tuca.ro) or the phone number 021 204 88 90. Please note that our law firm only uses official communication channels and does not have email accounts on platforms such as Gmail, Yahoo etc.
