New international accolades for Tuca Zbârcea & Asociații from IFLR and Best Lawyers®

The latest edition of the American guide “Best Lawyers in Romania” names 13 Partners from Țuca Zbârcea & Asociații, three of whom were selected as 2016 “Lawyer of the Year”, while IFLR Energy & Infrastructure 2016 reconfirms the top-tier position for Țuca Zbârcea & Asociații in these practice areas.

The 2016-17 edition of “Best Lawyers”, the oldest and most respected peer-review publication, selected Florentin Țuca, Sorin Vlădescu and Cătălin Băiculescu as “Lawyer of the Year” for Mergers and Acquisitions, Natural Resources and Commercial Law, respectively. Only a single lawyer in each practice areas is honored as the “Lawyer of the Year”, making this accolade particularly significant. In addition to these awards, Florentin Țuca, Sorin Vlădescu and Cătălin Băiculescu along with other nine partners of the firm have also been listed in the 2016 “Best Lawyers in Romania” for their general expertise in areas such as Banking and Finance, Information Technology, Tax, Labor and Employment Law, Arbitration and Mediation, Real Estate Law, Competition/Antitrust Law.

Also, IFLR has recently released the “IFLR Energy & Infrastructure”, 2016 edition, an annual guide that ranks law firms’ work in the fields of energy and infrastructure in 110 jurisdictions. In the Romania tables, Țuca Zbârcea & Asociații came first, the editors praising the scope and scale of the team specialising in energy and infrastructure.
