Top Capital "100 Best Companies to Work For": Țuca Zbârcea & Asociații is an exception in the labour market in Romania
Țuca Zbârcea & Asociații is one of the best employers in Romania, according to the 2008 edition of the annual survey undertaken by Capital, a leading weekly business magazine and GfK, one of the largest market research companies in the world.
Our law firm ranked 17th in the „100 Best Companies to Work For” and was the only law firm to be included in this year's survey.
To pick the „100 Best Companies to Work For”, Capital and GfK conducted the most extensive employee survey in corporate Romania. Of some 360 firms that were contacted, 150 companies participated in this year's survey. Nearly 3,500 middle-management employees at those companies responded to a multiple-question survey created by Gfk.
Companies` score is based on the results of the survey, mainly in respect of the following indicators: the internal professional development opportunities, the quality of internal communication and camaraderie, working environment, pay and benefit programs, including compensation practices.
Țuca Zbârcea & Asociații scored a total of 735 points, as follows:
- the internal professional development opportunities – 243 points;
- the quality of internal communication and camaraderie – 214 points;
- working environment – 140 points;
- pay and benefit programs, including compensation practices – 138 points.
According the editors of “100 Best Companies to Work For”, „at least in terms of pay offer, Țuca Zbârcea & Asociații is an exception in the labour market in Romania: the firm performs bi-annual reviews of both fixed salaries and attorneys fees.”
Also, Florentin Țuca, Managing Partner at Țuca Zbârcea & Asociații, stated: "people are increasingly concerned about their future in the firm, how the organization is giving them support to grow and develop, the benefits package… and are seeking more actively to find a healthy work-life balance.
