Țuca Zbârcea & Asociații launches Better Business in Romania
On the 26th September, 2006, the European Commission approved the Monitoring Report concerning the State of Preparedness of Bulgaria and Romania for EU membership. This enabled the two countries to join the EU on the 1st January 2007. Romania is now a fully fledged member of the EU and will benefit from financial support from structural funds of approximately 2 billion Euros per annum in the first three years after accession. EU structural funds will contribute to the development of sectors such as infrastructure, IT, education, health, environment, rural areas and SMEs.
Consistent with our goal to provide high quality information, we have recently published Better Business in Romania, a comprehensive guide intended to help investors and business operators to become familiar with the complex maze of laws and regulations. Better Business in Romania is meant to assist companies seeking to gain a foothold in the Romanian market. It provides a concise overview of Romania`s key business legislation. First launched in November 2006, the booklet will be continuously updated with the most recent information on legal developments. However, it does not seek to provide specific legal advice.
