Țuca Zbârcea & Asociații promotes multiple lawyers to various roles

Țuca Zbârcea & Asociații has promoted several lawyers to Managing Associate and Senior Associate roles as part of the annual performance review process. The appointments are effective as of January 1st, 2019.

Most of the promotions were to a Managing Associate role – an elite group of the firm’s most senior lawyers standing significant promotion prospects to Partnership. Created in January 2008, this structure was devised, on the one hand, as a bridge between the team of partners and the rest of the firm, and, on the other hand, this team is, for the lawyers, a “waiting room” to partnership.

As such, Sergiu Crețu, Nisa Jecu, Iuliana Leon, Ruxandra Niță, Ana Popa, Irina Răileanu (in alphabetical order) became Managing Associates while Sergiu Negreanu and Ana Pârvu (in alphabetical order) were promoted to Senior Associate.

The firm’s promotions took place in Banking & Finance, Litigation & Arbitration, Real Estate, Corporate/M&A, IP/Data Protection, Energy & Natural Resources, Public Procurement practice groups.

According to the firm’s managing partner Florentin Țuca, 2018 saw no promotions to Partner level, however at least two Partner appointments are expected to take place this year.
