Paul Butuzar

Paul Butuzar is an Associate in the firm's Banking and Finance practice group at Țuca Zbârcea & Asociații. He is building his expertise in both regulatory matters in banking & financial services and project finance, acquisition finance and real estate finance.

Paul is involved in several projects including banking & finance due-diligence, regulatory matters related to payment services, credit institutions and non-banking financial institutions, as well as financing transactions, transactions including assignment of non-performing loans and creation and perfection of guarantees and security.

He speaks English fluently.

Relevant Matters:

• Member of the legal team assisting a group of local commercial banks in relation to a EUR 161,100,000 and RON 116,000,000 financing granted to one of the largest medical services providers in Romania for the purpose of acquisitions, refinancing of debt and general corporate purposes.
• Member of the legal team assisting one of the largest oil seed processing companies in Romania in relation to a financing programme for the ongoing assignment of its trade receivables to a foreign commercial bank.
• Member of the legal team assisting a local commercial bank in relation to granting a EUR 22,000,000 credit facility to a group of companies for the acquisition of a Romanian company.
