Florentin Țuca, Managing Partner of the firm formerly known as Țuca & Asociații, was invited to present one of three special awards granted by FinMedia at the 10th annual Gala Awards of the "Piața Financiara" publication. He presented a special award to Mr. Constantin Ionete, former board member of the National Bank of Romania and former co-ordinator of the National Institute for Economic Research. Mr. Ionete is widely considered to be a shrewd observer of the Romanian economy before and since the 1989 revolution.

At a ceremony hosted recently by one of the most widely read magazines for professionals active in the field of economics, "Săptămâna Financiară", Florentin Țuca was awarded a Mr. RON title. The award ceremony was held at the World Trade Centre in Bucharest.

This year's meeting of the Romanian Banking Forum took place at the JW Marriott Grand Hotel with the main topic: What will Romania look like after 2007?

The Romania Top 100 Gala Award, the annual celebration of the best companies' achievements organized by FinMedia, saw some 60 top representatives from private companies, state-owned companies, Government officials and media delegates gathering together. Several awards were given to outstanding companies in Romania, ranked in the top 10 according to turnover and stock market capitalization.
