Țuca Zbârcea & Asociații scoops Chambers Europe’s “Law Firm of the Year” Award
Chambers Europe singled out Țuca Zbârcea & Asociații as the best Romanian law firm at the annual Chambers Europe Awards.
According to publicly available information, this year’s Chambers Europe Awards took place at London's Grosvenor House Hotel on April 24th in the presence of several hundreds of lawyers and in-house counsels from law firms and leading companies across Europe. The event was co-hosted by Alastair Sutton of Brick Court Chambers and Chambers Europe editor Georgia Brooks.
Țuca Zbârcea & Asociații was recognised as being the “Law Firm of the Year” in Romania against competition from four other independent and international law firms. Țuca Zbârcea & Asociații won the award for Romania for the second time since first winning the same prize in 2010.
A country award recognises a firm’s pre-eminence in key practice areas in the jurisdiction and takes into account strategic growth, market feedback and involvement in market-leading deals. This year’s gala and awards ceremony honoured those firms with outstanding performance over the past 12 months on the basis of the independent research carried out for the Chambers Europe 2014 guide.
The evening saw 24 individual country awards, including a new country award for Luxembourg and national and international awards for Hungary and Turkey. There were also regional awards for Offshore, the Baltic region, Central & Eastern Europe, and a final award for European Law Firm of the Year. In addition, there were eight ad hoc client service awards presented to those law firms that had received exceptional client feedback during research for the guide.
