Țuca Zbârcea & Asociații acted for Iași Municipality which entered into a concession agreement covering heat generation, transport, distribution and supply services in the city of Iași. The concession agreement between Iași Municipality and French company Dalkia was signed on July 6, after approximately four months of intense negotiations.

Țuca Zbârcea & Asociații advised ING Continental Europe Holding BV on the Romanian Competition Council’s investigation into the private pension fund market which began in 2007. By order of the Competition Council’s President, the investigation into potentially anticompetitive behavior by six undertakings active on the market of privately managed mandatory pension funds (Pillar II) in Romania was ended. The suspicion that the investigated parties` had engaged in concerted practices through lobbying activities was rejected by the Competition Council’s investigation team after a lengthy review of the supporting documents and arguments brought by the parties.

Two further modules will also take place in June 2012 and September 2012. Anticipating a growing momentum around art, Țuca Zbârcea & Asociații made an inspired choice in partnering Artmark to run the first art management courses in Romania, which attracted important names in the art world from academia, museums and trade.
