Răzvan Gheorghiu-Testa, Founder of Țuca Zbârcea & Asociații, recognised as one of the Top 50 Most Influential People on Romania’s Real Estate market
For the third time, Răzvan Gheorghiu-Testa, Partner at Țuca Zbârcea & Asociații and co-head of the firm’s Real Estate practice group has been listed amongst the top 50 most influential people in the real estate market.
Property Forum has recently launched the 2024 edition of its annual publication “The 50 Most Influential People on Romania’s Real Estate Market”. The list honours 50 professionals with intense activity in the real estate sector and who have led major projects over the past months. The publication features top executives from construction companies and developers of office, residential, industrial and logistics projects, as well as real estate advisors and investment consultants, such as lawyers, bankers, investment directors, sales managers and marketing professionals etc.
For the third time, Property Forum listed Răzvan Gheorghiu-Testa, Founder of Țuca Zbârcea & Asociații and co-head of the firm’s Real Estate practice group amongst the most influential professionals on the real estate market. He has been practicing law for more than 25 years, focusing on real estate, corporate/M&A and tax matters. Răzvan is a Fellow Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (FRICS) and was elected as a Board Member of RICS Romania for two consecutive terms. In addition, Răzvan is ranked as a top tier professional in real estate by reputed international legal directories such as Chambers Europe, Legal 500 where he earned a well-deserved place in the “Hall of Fame” of real estate lawyers.
In the past year, the team led by Răzvan has been involved in several high-profile transactions on the Romanian market, such as the acquisition of Expo Market Doraly by the Belgian group Warehouses De Paw (WDP) and the acquisition of the CORA chain of stores by Carrefour Romania. One of the firm’s traditional clients is the Carrefour Group, for which the team provides legal services in relation to a variety of projects with a real estate component. The team also advises institutional investors such as Morgan Stanley, Indotek Group or Revetas Capital Advisors on their investments in the local market.
