Țuca Zbârcea & Asociații, in the running for a coveted CEE 2018 Deal of the Year Award

Romanian independent law firm – Țuca Zbârcea & Asociații – has been shortlisted for an award at this year’s CEE Legal Matters (CEELM) – Deal of the Year Awards. According to CEELM, “these shortlists were chosen by panels of experts on the ground in each CEE jurisdiction from over 200 submissions made by law firms all over Europe”.

Țuca Zbârcea & Asociații was nominated for advising on the Romanian legal aspects incident to the Advent International – Zentiva/Sanofi acquisition, a cross-border deal which was valued at EUR 1.9 billion. The team was led by Partners Sorin Vlădescu (Corporate and M&A) and Silvana Ivan (Capital Markets, Data Protection).

According to the organisers, the winners will be announced at the 2019 Deal of the Year Awards Banquet in Budapest. Law firms from 17 different CEE countries will be recognised for their hard work in some of the largest and most important deals taking place last year.
