Dana Barbu (Blaer) is a Managing Associate at Țuca Zbârcea & Asociații, focusing on intellectual property law. She has extensive experience in matters related to trademark registration and licensing (at national and international level), trademarks’ enforcement and counterfeiting claims, as well as to copyright, designs and patents. She is one of the main points of contact as regards intellectual property and she successfully develops and maintains a strategic approach to the business’s IP rights of the firm’s clients.

Her work experience also includes numerous acquisition and sale transactions, assisting major clients in complex projects.

She also has extensive experience in general corporate and commercial law and electronic communications & IT, while a further focus of her practice concerns legal advice on a broad range of consumer protection and advertising law issues.

• Member of the legal team retained by a leading international retail pharmaceutical company on a USD 200,000,000 transaction for the acquisition of one of the largest Romanian drugs producers.
