Țuca Zbârcea & Asociații advised on one of the most important deals taking place in the pharma sector since the beginning of the year. The firm acted for Interbrands Marketing & Distribution, the largest Romanian company in the distribution and marketing of fast moving consumer goods (FMCG), on its acquisition of Europharm Holding, a local drug distribution company owned by UK drugmaker GlaxoSmithKline. The disposal includes Europharm shares, as well as several additional commercial contracts.

The acquisition of Fokker Technologies Group BV further enhances GKN’s position as a leading global supplier to the aerospace industry. GKN Aerospace moves to #2 in aerostructures and becomes #3 in electrical wiring systems. The combination brings together two leading technology companies with broad product portfolios and established positions on major aircraft platforms.

In an irrevocable judgement rendered on September 14th, 2015 the Bucharest Court of Appeal rejected the challenge filed by a consortium of bidders against the awarding to Teamnet Project Management Solution of a contract worth in excess of EUR 10 million for the expansion of the 112 emergency call number in Romania.
