Țuca Zbârcea & Asociații has acted on yet another cross-border deal by which GKN plc acquired Fokker Technologies Group BV, also present in Romania, from Arle Capital. The acquisition of Fokker Technologies Group BV further enhances GKN’s position as a leading global supplier to the aerospace industry. GKN Aerospace moves to #2 in aerostructures and becomes #3 in electrical wiring systems. The combination brings together two leading technology companies with broad product portfolios and established positions on major aircraft platforms.

In an irrevocable judgement rendered on September 14th, 2015 the Bucharest Court of Appeal rejected the challenge filed by a consortium of bidders against the awarding to Teamnet Project Management Solution of a contract worth in excess of EUR 10 million for the expansion of the 112 emergency call number in Romania. Michael Kors has recently opened a second retail shop in Bucharest, located in Băneasa Shopping Centre, following the launch of its first flagship store in JW Marriott Grand Hotel earlier in July.
